Team Games
CHALK CORNER X

Chalk corner X.

As with all team games, place equal player numbers in each corner of a Hall.

A chalk square is drawn in front of the teams. The same size, for each team.

Each team is given a number and each team will have one piece of chalk, a different colour for each team.

This chalk is placed in the centre of the hall, an equal distance away from all teams.

On the “go” command, the game co-ordinator will call 2 team numbers, say team 1 and team 3. Player 1, from each of these teams must run as quickly as possible to get their chalk and then proceed to their opponents chalk square, and place an “X”, the first team to place an “X” wins 1 point.

Should the wrong colour chalk be used. The point will automatically go to the other team.

At the end of the game, the different colour chalk “X”s are counted in each box. The winning team receiving the most “X”s.

Variation. The game can also be played by each team in the corner, having three newspaper balls .
These can be used to throw at the attacking chalk bearer. The team will have three attempts only at their targets.
Should the paper ball hit the player, then that player has to return his chalk to the middle of the hall, and return to his team. However, if he manages to dodge the three attempts at hitting him with the newspaper ball. He is then free to Mark, the "X" in the square; however, he must still do this before the other team places their “X”.
