What is insurance and party insurance Put it simply, insurance is a policy designed to make sure that you are no worse off after an accident or disaster than you were beforehand. Event insurance is exactly that.
There are dozens of different types of insurance, from insurance that you have to take out by law (such as car insurance), to policies that it's a good idea to have (such as contents insurance) to those that are 'nice to have' rather than necessities.
But you can also take out Event Insurance, which may not not be a bad thing to do, after all your hard work.
How does insurance work?
When you take out an insurance policy, you pay that insurance company a set amount of money, called a premium. If you never make a claim, you never get any of the money back; instead it's pooled with the premiums (money) of others who have taken out insurance with a particular firm.
That may not sound like a good deal, but the idea behind insurance is that everyone pays into a pot of money, knowing that only some of them will ever need to make a claim. If you have to make a claim, the money comes from the pool of your and other policyholders' premiums.
event insurance and other types, are probably the only things we buy, hoping never to use.But on the rare occassion you need to make a claim, it's the best thing you have ever done.
Hope this helps BUT ENJOY THE PARTY With or without insurance
