PASS THE PARCEL

Party Games Instructions.

The original Birthday celebration Game ‘PASS THE PARCEL’ was to wrap up a little prize, in about 20 layers of birthday paper.

Now birthday games have changed and a prize is under every layer of paper, with a bigger one in the middle.

Arrange the kids in a circle on the floor.

Start playing music, and then hand the parcel to the first party player.

Whilst the music is playing the parcel is passed around the circle without stopping.

Once the music stops, the player holding the parcel tries to rip off a layer of birthday paper before the music starts again, and the parcel gets passed on.

This is repeated until all the layers of birthday wrap are gone.

VARIATION 1 is to place a forfeit under each layer, like cluck like a chicken.

VARIATION 2 Great around the Christmas table, instead of crackers, far more fun. Must not forget the paper hat and joke.

VARIATION 3 Great for an office meal, gets things warmed up. If you were a mean boss, under each layer could be work related questions.
