You can start by getting kids to prepare their own cards. Get them to write their favourite numbers. This is a sneaky way for it to be educational, but it also involves the kids from the start. We all know how much kids enjoy being involved.
With younger kids, simply choose numbers 1-10. Or numbers 1-5 and repeat them. So the card could end up with the number 5 say 3 times, and so on.
If numbers are too tricky, remember this is suppose to be fun, then keep it simply and get the kids to colour each square.You could then move on to the basic low numbers on a coloured square. For example RED 4.
