BALLOON SKILL RACE This balloon game is best played inside, as blowing wind would be unfair.
Line up the players in teams of 4.
Distance between players depends on their age, and the space available.
Player 1 starts by holding a large balloon with a smaller balloon balanced on top. He walks to the next team member and carefully passes over the 2 balloons.
The winning team carries both balloons over the finish line first.
Rules; no holding the top balloon. Should a balloon drop, then that person goes back to their start position, not the race start. You can allow little cheats, such as rubbing the balloon on your hair or jumper to create static electricity. This can help the balloons to stay together.For reasons that do not need explaining, do not allow, spit, gum and so on.
PARTY TIP
Every party needs balloons.
Put them everywhere, not just in the party room.
Make the front door come alive. Hang them from every door knob, curtain pole and coat hook.
Write the children’s names on them and use them as place markers around the party table.
Always make sure that there is a balloon in the party bag to go home, age permitting.
Do all the above, but remember, to use them throughout the party.
Here are loads to choose from, put balloons on that party list. Make sure to buy a huge bag, I would inflate them with a pump as it saves on fainting.
