BALLOON POP RACE

Great balloon game, but not for very little kids, too many bangs.
Divide players into teams.
Each team should have 1 balloon pump and 1 balloon for each player, placed at the end of a short run, like a hall.
On the start signal, player 1 runs to the pump, places 1 balloon on to the pump, and blows the balloon up until it pops.He runs back to his team, and player 2 can do the same.
Winner = team with all their balloons popped first.

BALLOON POP RACE VARIATION 1. For smaller children who are ok with the bang, place the balloon on the pump for them, if they are unable to use the pump, get an adult to do the pumping, but they must jump for every pump. If they stop jumping, stop pumping.
BALLOON POP RACE VARIATION 2. For older kids, part fill each balloon with water, then stand back.
BALLOON POP RACE VARIATION 3. Inside each balloon before inflation, place a word on a piece of paper.
When the balloon pops the word must be taken back to the team.
The words could form a sentence, a saying.
You might only use 1 letter, so the kids must form a word.
Winning team = guesses it right.
