BALLOON HOCKEY

Balloon hockey
Balloon games as the name suggests, a game of hockey played with balloons.
You will need 2 teams; each team member will be given a long sausage shape balloon, which replaces the hockey stick.
The ball will be substituted with a round balloon.
You will need a goal at either end of the playing area.
This game is best played inside in a Hall as the game would be extremely difficult outside with the wind blowing. See below for variation

The game begins with one player from each team in the middle of the playing area, with their balloon stick and one round shape balloon.
On the whistle each team must try and gain possession of the balloon.
Their main objective is to score a goal.
Only the long sausage shape balloon can be used.
The round balloon must not touch any part of the body.
Should the balloon hit a player, a free shot should be given to the other team.
Can be played with or without a goalkeeper.
variation. To make the round balloon even more unpredictable, place a small amount of water inside the balloon before it is tied.
Make sure none of the team members do the same with their balloon stick.
OUTDOOR BALLOON HOCKEY VARIATION Place a small amount of water in the round balloon to prevent it from blowing away. A small amount of water in the long balloons would also make them easier to control.
