CHRISTMAS PARTY GAMES CHRISTMAS TEAMWORK
Place everyone in pairs around a table. For this game, you will need a sheet of wrapping paper, tape, and an empty box for each pair. Each pair must wrap one arm around their partner, so making one joint body, one using the left arm one using the right arm. Then on the off, each pair must try and wrap their present. Winner to the best looking present.
CHRISTMAS PARTY GAMES CHRISTMAS FIND THAT CAROL
This is quite a good ice breaker game, great with groups who do not yet know each other. As guests arrive, each has a sticky note stuck to them which contains one or a few words from a Christmas Carol. They will then have to mingle their way around the other guests reading their carols words, until all the words are found. Do not let on how many are in each group, otherwise they may stop looking. Good idea is to put your guests name on the sticky helps with the ice breaker.
CHRISTMAS PARTY GAMES CHRISTMAS PAIRS
Another Christmas ice breaker, is again supply each guest with a sticky note this time they will have to find their matching pair. For example Santa-Santa for the younger guest. For the older guest let them think a bit more. For example Rudolf-Dancer, Turkey-stuffing. Or a question has to find the answer.
CHRISTMAS PARTY GAMES CHRISTMAS WHATS MISSING GAME.
Two ways of playing this party game. Show your guests a tray of Christmas related items, the number of items would reflect the age of the group. Allow 20 seconds to view the items, and then cover them. Your guest must try and write down as many items they can remember, before the cover is removed. The other way to play is to allow 20 seconds to view the tray full of Christmas items. Then instead of writing them down, now show them a table covered with Christmas items, your guests will be allowed another 20 seconds to collect the items they think were on the tray. 1 Point for a correct answer. Deduct 1 point for a wrong answer.

CHRISTMAS PARTY GAMES FORGET THE CHRISTMAS CRACKERS
Why do we buy Christmas Crackers? Is it for the fantastic jokes, or the land fill site toy? This year, why not replace the Crackers, and make your own pass the parcel ball. Great fun around the Dinner table. A suggestion put forward to the Christmas pass the parcel, is to wrap up the Dinner cutlery then everyone will have to play, if they want to eat. Personally I think the Dinner would get cold. But maybe do it with the Dessert spoon, before the Christmas pudding is served. That could work, or be annoying, you choose.
CHRISTMAS PARTY GAMES CHRISTMAS CAROL LINKS
A little bit of planning needed. See how many Christmas Carols your guests can write down in 60 seconds. Then swop lists with other teams to see how many the other teams can now sing.
CHRISTMAS PARTY GAMES USE CHRISTMAS CAROL LINKS AS AN ICE BREAKER GAME.
When your guests arrive stick a note on then containing a line from a Christmas Carol. Try not to do an opening line or chorus as that would make it to easy. You know your guests; depending on how many at the party maybe have 3 different lines from the same Carol. So that 3 different people will have to meet. Maybe when they have found each other, they can now sing the carol together. Great Ice Breaker as usually everyone will join in.
CHRISTMAS PARTY GAMES VARIATION TO CHRISTMAS CAROL LINK
Whisper a line from a Christmas Carol to each guest as they arrive, they must memorise it. Then when all guests have arrived on the bell they must all start singing their given line. They must keep singing until all guests have joined a group, then the noise can stop.
CHRISTMAS PARTY GAMES STUFF SANTA
Run race adapted for Christmas. You will need identical Santa costumes with all the trimmings, for each team. Best to use the largest suit possible. You will also need a good supply of blown up white balloons, these will be the snow balls to stuff Santa with. The balloons should be placed at the far end of a hall. The Santa suit items a little closer. Each team must select a Santa, who will be dressed up by the other members. On the whistle, one team member at a time will run and retrieve one piece of costume for Santa to wear. Only when the item is on properly can the next player retrieve another piece of costume. When Santa is fully clothed, can a team member now get one white balloon from the far end. The balloon is to be stuffed inside Santa’s clothing to pad him out. The winning team will have the Santa with the most balloons.
CHRISTMAS PARTY GAMES REINDEER CHALLENGE ICE BREAKER
Great Christmas ice breaker. As your guests arrive stick one of Santa’s reindeers name on them. Depending on the party size, you may need to do Dancer1 Dancer2 Dancer3 The reindeers must now mingle and join up with their correct team members. See if they can place the reindeers in the correct order. I would follow this with a balloon game now that they are in teams.
CHRISTMAS PARTY GAMES REINDEER CHALLENGE
A quiet little challenge is to have the name of all Santa’s reindeers on sticky notes. Allow teams time to arrange the notes/reindeers in the correct order. Count the first team correct answers, against the next team. Allow a second round. Winning team is correct or the nearest to it.
CHRISTMAS PARTY GAMES PIN THE TAIL (NOT)
A fun Christmas activity was to pin the tail on Rudolf. But for a change try a similar game using a picture of Santa, cut up. Just the body of Santa will remain on the board. His arms, legs, beard, hat, boots etc will be placed in a bag. Blindfold the first player. One by one a piece is taken from the bag and walked to where the body is. Get the Child to place the piece from the bag on to the board, then an adult can stick or pin it. It really is impossible to do, but the Children love the drama.
A variation is again only have the body or face of Santa and get a blindfolded Child to draw where they think a part is.
Another variation is to have Santa in his sleigh, no presents. The presents are to be pinned or stuck on the picture. Usually the presents are everywhere, falling from the sky.
CHRISTMAS PARTY GAMES SANTA’S FACE.
Very simply, allow a blindfolded guest a certain amount of time to draw Santa’s face on maybe a white board in front of everyone. A whiteboard is easiest because it is smooth for the marker. Then remove the blindfold to see the results. Kids love taking turns with this. Maybe offer a prize to the person who has Santa’s nose in the right place.
